Green systems can be an environmentally-friendly solution for sustainable urban development. These systems have accompanied humanity throughout many centuries. Nowadays, including green roofs and external vertical gardens in urban areas can contribute towards cooling the interior, noise reduction, beneficial impact on the microclimate and general health improvement. These systems provide a suitable environment for heath improvement by creating accessible areas for relaxation and sports. At the same time, these green systems increase the overall green spaces in urban areas.
