The effect of increasing arsenic doses on early potato quality
Original language description
Gradational As amounts increased as content in tops and tubers as the statistics proved. In tops there also was a higher concentration of N, P, Mg and Cd and the content of Ni and Fe was decreased. In tubers the Fe and Cd content was decreased. The Impala variety tops contained more K, Ca, Cu and Zn. In tubers there were more P, K, Ca, Mg, Zn and less Ni in the same variety. The limit arsenic content in tubers was exceeded in case of the worst contamination of the soil by arsenic (120 mg.kg-1), namely by 0,0869 mg of As.kg-1 in Krystala and by 0,0064 mg of As.kg-1 of fresh matter in the Impala variety.
