Original language description
The IPMA Individual Competence Baseline 4th Version (ICB4) delivers a comprehensive inventory of competences for individuals to use in career development and all areas related. Regional development represents an area which aims to boost social and economic development in the regions. This paper aims to analyze the consequences of updated ICB4 for the project management and project managers dealing with the issues concerning the regional development. On the base of analysis of ICB3 and ICB4 and expert literature sources as well as on the base of comparison of these two versions the consequences in the knowledge and skills areas of project managers are discussed. Because of the main features of regional project the biggest emphasis should be put on communication, trust and cooperation.
