The paper provides a theoretical perspective on the issue of managerial competencies and presents the results obtained from the survey, which was conducted in public organizations in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The aim of the research was to reveal thecurrent profile of project managers in the area managerial competencies. The managerial competence was created by three elements Competence, Commitment and Contribution.
