The paper judges the success of European beech plantations in reconstructing the stands of substitute forest tree species in the air polluted region of the eastern Krušné hory Mts (Danger zones A, B; Forest altitudinal vegetation zones 6 and 7, acidic sites). Analyses were made of 12 stand situations with an aim of comparing the growth of European beech plantations in the Krušné hory Mts with the growth of coeval plantations on similar sites in the unpolluted region of Bohemian-Moravian Upland (Danger zone C, D; Forest altitudinal vegetation zone 6, acidic sites). Each plant was subjected to the assessment of 6 growth and visually evaluable parameters and traits. Plantations up to 5 years of age in the Krušné hory Mts exhibited retarded growth with plants being in a deep post-planting shock. REKONSTRUKCE POROSTŮ NÁHRADNÍCH DŘEVIN BUKEM LESNÍM (FAGUS SYLVATICA L.) VE VÝCHODNÍM KRUŠNOHOŘÍ

Příspěvek hodnotí úspěšnost výsadeb buku lesního při rekonstrukcích porostů náhradních dřevin v imisní oblasti východního Krušnohoří (pásmo ohrožení A, B, 6. a 7. lesní vegetační stupeň, kyselá stanoviště). Analyzováno bylo 12 porostních situací a cílembylo porovnat odrůstání kultur buku lesního v Krušných horách s odrůstáním stejně starých kultur na obdobných stanovištích v neimisní oblasti Českomoravské vrchoviny (pásmo ohrožení C, D, 6. lesní vegetační stupeň, kyselá stanoviště). U každé rostliny bylo hodnoceno 7 růstových a vizuálně hodnocených parametrů a znaků. V Krušných horách byl zaznamenán zpomalený růst kultur do věku 5 let, rostliny jsou v hlubokém povýsadbovém šoku. V následujících letech se přírůsty v obou srovnávaných oblastech vyrovnávají. Mezi další významné faktory ovlivňující růst kultur patří poškození vyvolaná zvěří, drobnými hlodavci a škody pozdním mrazem.
