Comparison of the bumble bee populations in the Sněžník Mts. and the Jizerské Hory Mts. (Hymenoptera: Bombini)
Original language description
The bumble bee populations in the Sněžník Mts. and the Jizerské Hory Mts. were influenced by immissions in the past. In the both areas the bumble bee populations were studied namely with Moericke's traps and also with other methods in the years 1990--2010. The bumble bee populations showed low diversity classified by Shannon index and equitability (H' < 1,66 and E < 0,62) in comparison with the bumble bee populations in similar sites of the Central Europe. The bumble bee Bombus lucorum and cuckoo bumblebee Psithyrus bohemicus were eudominant in the less diversified landscape of the Sněžník Mts. More diversified landscape in the Jizerské Hory Mts. sustained the following eudominant species: B. lucorum, Pyrobombus pratorum a Megabombus pascuorum; Ps. bohemicus was only subdominant. Impacts of immissions on the bumble bee populations and their long-term decline are discussed.
