The project of stabilization of Brno Reservoir banks at the Rokle site used several stabilization techniques. One of them was the utilization of geonets in the form of pre-grown grass carpets. These were laid on a modified reservoir bank just above the line of the maximum level. They were supposed to protect the banks mainly against rill erosion caused by water flowing to the reservoir and erosion caused by people walking down the slope. Grass carpets were grown on location Černá Pole and Žižkova.
