Original language description
Wash out of unstabilized or improperly stabilized banks of the reservoirs is causing irreversible loss of the forest and agricultural land. Due to waving of water surface leads to dissolution and dispersion of reservoir banks, due to erosion processes occur to washes away material from the higher slopes lining the banks of the reservoir. This material stored in the reservoir is subsequently cause of reduction of retention space in reservoir, changes of water quality and several meters abrasion cavern can be naturally created on the banks. In this case the recreational use is significantly reduced due to bad access to the water for the man and wildlife too.
