The traditional International Design Workshop organized by the Institute of Design and Furniture (LDF MENDELU) together with FH Salzburg, Austria, ESB Nantes, France and LAB University, Finland. The workshop supported by the EU - BIP project was implemented at FH Salzburg and only 32 students participated, including 7 students from LDF, MENDELU. The theme of the workshop was Sustainability and furniture constructions. Students from 4 European countries worked intensively in 7 groups on the assignment Schloss Fugen. The results of the work are documented below with photo documentation. The topic of the workshop contained several tasks that had to be fulfilled: Spatial solution and space structure, Development of interior furniture concepts connecting the spaces of the future metacenter, Application of sustainable principles and materials to the developed concepts.
