Variety composition in former Czechoslovakia vineries has distinetly changed after swithover from small-scale to large scale production. Variety assortment in Czech Republic consist of varieties for white and red wine production and table varieties. Relatively wide variety assortment for red and white wine production was grown in former Czechoslovakia and now in Czech Republic. So variety wine production has long tradition in Czech Republic. Variety wine tradition reflect famous variety wines from czechand moravian wine growing regions. Grape wine breeding has longe tradition since the time of former Czechoslovakia and continue now in Czech Republic. There is breding stations network in Bohemia ane Moravia, engaged in new variety breeding and clone selection.
