Eight taxa of the genus Rhodanthe, belonging to four species, were investigated in three cultivation modes for increasing of productivity and quality. Higher yield of flowering stems was recorded in plant density 3,200 plants per are in comparison to currently recommended 1,600 plants per are. Dense plantings display the highest yield in the Rhodanthe humboldtiana and R. stricta. In large-flowered varieties R. chlorocephala, the best yield of flowering stems was recorded in the direct-sown plants.

Czech description
Osm odrůd čtyř druhů rodu Rhodanthe bylo testováno ve třech pěstebních modulech na zvýšení produktivity a kvality. Vyšší výnos stonků byl zaznamenán ve výsadbách o hustotě 3200 rostlin na ar. Hustější výsadby vykazovaly vyšší výnosy především u R. humboldtiana a R. stricta. U velkokvětých odrůd R. chloorocephala byl nejvyšší výnos zaznamenán z přímých výsevů.
