Original language description
The gene pool area at Mendel University of Agriculture and Forestry in Brno was estabilished in two stages in 2000 and 2001 as corridor planting, 2,0 x 1,5 spacing. Most of the varieties come from the collection of Pavlov Research Institute VIR in St. Petersburg and some varieties are from VÚOOD Bojnice Research Institute, Herbaton s.r.o. Klčov, and from other breeders. In 2006 most of varieties showed medium growth - 56,52%, the share of low-growth bushes was 30,43% and tall - growth bushes 13,05%- Interms of the cubature of the bush, the variety Viola (2,83m3)had a large cubature and the variety Backarskaja small (0,90m3).
