Relations between polyphenols content and antioxidant activity in vine grapes and leaves

  • Original language description

The occurrence and content of some polyphenols and the antioxidant activity of compounds present in grape berries, stems and leaves of Vitis vinifera L. were evaluated. Three white and three blue varieties of grapevine were investigated. Contents of trans-resveratrol, trans- piceid, caftaric acid, tryptophan, catechin, epicatechin, total polyphenols, and flavanols were determined both in healthy material and in the samples of plant material infested with microorganisms (Botryotinia fuckeliana, Whetzel.anamorph Botrytis cinerea, Pers.; Uncinula necator, (Schw.) Burr.; Plasmopara viticola, (Berk. et Curt) Berk. et Toni.). Antioxidant activity of the obtained extracts was determined by different methods: FRAP (Ferric Reducing Antioxidant Power), DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical) and TAC-PCL (Total Antioxidant Capacity of Photochemiluminescence). The content of trans-resveratrol varied between 0.3-2.3 and 0.7-12.1 mg/kg in non-infested and infested grape berries, respectively.

Vztahy mezi obsahem polyfenolů a antioxidační aktivitou v révových hroznech a listech.

  • Czech description

V práci byl hodnocen výskyt a obsah polyfenolů a antioxidační aktivita sloučenin přítomných v bobulích a třapinách hroznů a révových litech. Zkoumány byly tři bílé a tři modré odrůdy hroznů. Obsah trans-resveratrolu, trans- piceidu, kyseliny kaftarové, tryptofanu, katechinu, epikcatechinu, veškerých polyfenolů a flavanolů byl stanoven ve zdravém materiálu a vzorcích napadených mikroorganismy (Botryotinia fuckeliana, Whetzel. anamorph Botrytis cinerea, Pers.; Uncinula necator, (Schw.) Burr.; Plasmopara viticola, (Berk. et Curt) Berk. et Toni.). Antioxidační aktivita získaných extraktů byla stanovena různými metodami FRAP (Ferric Reducing Antioxidant Power), DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl radical) a TAC-PCL (Total Antioxidant Capacity of Photochemiluminescence). Obsah trans-resveratrolu se pohyboval v rozmezí 0.3-2.3 a 0.7-12.1 mg/kg v nenapadených respektive napadených bobulích hroznů. Obsah trans-piceidu mezi 0.6-2.9 a 1.5-6.3 mg/kg v nenapadených respektive napadených bobulích hr
