Egg behaviour under low velocity impact
Original language description
Paper describes the model of egg. This model has been used for the numerical simulation of the egg behaviour during its impact on the rigid plate. The finite element code LS DYNA 3D has been used. This procedure gave an insight on the eggshell behaviouras well as behaviour of the white of egg and yolk. The stresses in the shell have been evaluated as well as the forces at the contact of the eggshell with the rigid plate.
