The evaluation of mechanical properties of eggs.

Original language description

Strenght of eggshell was measured by compression test on testing machine TIRA (Germany). The 9 line of hen four breed from breeder farm (Rhode-Island White Rhode-Island Red, Bar Plymouth Rock, Sussex Light) and one breed of Japanese quail was monitoring.The least values of strenght of eggshell was found at Rhode-Island Red (28 ? 32 N) White had strenght 34-36 N, eggs of Bar Plymouth Rock had the most strenght (37- 39 N). The variability of values oscillated between 15 - 20 %.
