Databank of important tree species in the Odra river watershed riparian zone of streams.
Original language description
Field surveys conducted during the geobiocoenological mapping of the riparian zone of streams under the administration of the company Povodí Odry a.s. included important tree species from the viewpoint of their growth parameters. The species in questionare mainly arborescent and reach the above-average dimensions in either height or diameter at breast height. The paper aims at a description of the species diversity in a defined territory and at an analysis of their growth for the individual species. This will be a contribution to the knowledge of the potential growth possibilities of some tree species which use to be found on the upper limits of the floodplains. The species are localized by the water stream, bank side and riverain kilometer, plotted in the maps of geobiocoene type groups made to order from the company Povodí Odry a.s. and recommended for protection.
