Evaluation of RAPD Data by POPGENE 32 Software
Original language description
As model data were used results from application of random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) technique to genetic diversity study among 19 soybean genotypes included in Czech National Collection of Soybean Genotypes. The genotypes were selected to make mixture of North American (NA) cultivars and genotypes originated in Europe (E). Resulted banding pattern of the gels were scored manually and transferred to the present-absent scale (1 or 0 for each allele and genotype). This data were subjected to analysis using POPGENE 32 software (dominant character of the markers, diploid character of the plant material and multiple populations were selected as a input options in the initial menu of the software). Software POPGENE 32 proves its ability to evaluate data generated by RAPD method. Soybean has been used as a plant material, but there is no known complication to apply POPGENE 32 to similar research of plants belonged to horticulture discipline, too.
