Effects of three binders, RADEKONT (R), FIX-a-TOX (F) and BIFEZH (B), added to the feed mixtures, on the 137-Cs transfer from contaminated feed into broiler chicken meat were tested. R, F, and B decreased significantly (P<0.05) the transfer of 137-Cs tobroiler chicken meat from a single dose of contaminated feed mixture (3.4 kBq/chicken). Reduction of the radiocaesium accumulation affected by R and F reached as much as 35 %, and when affected by B it reached a factor higher than 2. When the contaminated doses were applied repeatedly (10 days, 2 doses/day, 150 Bq/dose, i.e. total 3 kBq/chicken), the protection was 20 ? 50 % (P<0.05) with R and F; the reduction of the 137-Cs transfer exceeded factor 7 after administration of B.
