The study introduces the part of EU legislation the Directive 1999/13/ES concerning VOC emission of their influence on the human health.The new terms as the fugitive emissions, the emission reduction plan, the solvent management plan are explaineted. From environmental point of view there is described the situation in Czech Republic. The new requirements of Eco-Label are introduced.
