Original language description
In grazed flock of beef ewes and lambs in the School Enterprise Žabčice the dynamics of the occurrence of (in many) case serious and pathogenic sheep helminthoses - moniesiosis and strongylidosis - was examined. This flock was treated three times a yearusing Aldifal 2,5% (5 mg/kg b.w. of albendazole). Faeces sampling was made regularly once a month and the samples were analysed using flotation, sedimentation and larvoscopical methods. From the flock consisted of 58 lambs and 38 ewes we variably evaluated groups of 50% and 50% individuals respectively for monthly screening. Two groups of different parasites were found, exactly, the tapeworms of the genus Moniezia, and the nematodes of the gastrointestinal tracts. On the lambs the tapeworms were of higher occurrence, while on ewes more nematodes of the gastrointestinal tract were found. From all terms of helminth control the most powerful was the one taken in the end of May.
