Original language description

This work summarized basic composition and meanings of colostrum, possibilities of its quality assessment, routes of colostrum feeding and control methods of colostral nutrition in calves. As the primary ways of control of colostral nutrition in calves serve not only techniques for direct immunoglobulin contens determination in blood serum in 2-6 day old calves (with a view to orientation test, eg. cloud test with zinc sulphate, glutaraldehyde test and precipitation test with sulphate cake) but also possibility of indirect control of colostral nutrition of calves by assessment of biochemical parameters influenced by colostrum feeding (setting the total protein in blood serum, activity of gamaglutamyl transpherase and both A and E vitamin concentration).

Práce shrnuje základní složení a význam kolostra, možnosti hodnocení jeho kvality, způsoby podávání kolostra a metody kontroly kolostrální výživy telat. Jako základní způsoby kontroly kolostrální výživy telat jsou představeny metody přímého stanovení obsahu imunoglobulinů v krevním séru telat ve věku 2 - 6 dní (se zaměřením na orientační zkoušky jako je zákalový test se síranem zinečnatým, glutaraldehydový test a precipitační test se siřičitanem sodným), ale také možnosti nepřímé kontroly kolostrální výživy telat stanovením biochemických parametrů ovlivňovaných příjmem kolostra (stanovení celkové bílkoviny krevního séra, aktivity gamaglutamyltransferázy a koncentrace vitamínu A a E).
