Turkey rhinotracheitis virus (family Paramyxoviridae), infectious laryngotracheitis virus (family Herpesviridae), ornithobacteriosis (family Flavobacteriaceae), infectious colibacillosis (family Enterobacteriaceae) and mycoplasmosis (family Mycoplasmataceae) are represented by pathogens, affecting respiratory or motoric tracts of poultry, causing serious economical impact on the poultry industry. Because of easy transmission between turkey flocks, measures to prevent horizontal spread should be taken when these pathogens are diagnosed in meat production stocks. The aim of this contribution was to map distribution of these pathogens in South Moravian turkey farms. From 2008 to 2013 field turkey samples from seven commercial turkey flocks (two breeding farms, five producing farms) in Czech Republic were collected by veterinarians and sent to our laboratory to be analysed.
