Mast cells (MCs) can affect reproductive processes (e.g. ovulation, embryo implantation and vascularisation of the placenta). The purpose of the current study is to assess the numbers of the formalin resistant MCs in the selected parts of the feline ovaries and uteri that vary within the reproductive cycle phases.
