Current factors affecting the brown hare population

Original language description

Since 1975 extraordinary decrease in the hare population has been observed. It has not been possible to get the formar regular number of animals. The populatin of hare varied in former times in dependence on the effect of bioclimate. The decrease in thepopulation of all kinds of small game appeared first after the World War II, especially in the case of partridges. The loss in the number of hares has been caused by many interconnected negative factors that possess a specific significance for a given locality. Often the keepers in their practice neglect some prolonged negative factors regarding them as given for the area and therefore do not take appropriate measures.
