Chemoprotective and toxic potentials of coumarins in vitro.Firstly we measured cytotoxicity of 9 coumarins (aesculetin, aesculin, bergapten, fraxetin, isopimpinelin, coumarin, 4-methylaesculetin, umbeliferon and xanthotoxin) and secondly their regulationof gap junctional intercellular communication (GJIC). According to this work tested coumarins are non-cytotoxic and they do not shown down-regulation of GJIC in cell line WB-F344
