Original language description
The skills of prospective teachers (university students) in the field of both information and reading strategies are necessary conditions for success in the students´ studies and in future they will be influencing competencies of their pupils. The aim of our interrogatory research was to learn what strategies of learning from text the prospective teachers have a good command of and to learn what factors influence the students. Results selected of the questionnaire: We found that students use strategies at every stage of the text, but at least before reading. Unfortunately prevail pillar strategy. Links to learning styles were confirmed. It was confirmed that a relatively high number of students learn the subject matter from the text by memory without a deeper understanding. Either they have not adopted a strategy for learning from text, or they are accustomed to handle large amounts of subject matter in this way, potentially from indifference. Students use the internet very considerably when learning. The strongest acting factor, which refers to understanding and deep processing of the learning material.
