Original language description
Data collection in the field of social work is most often implemented using paper questionnaires or paper record sheets. In some cases it is also possible to use a voice recorder or video camera. Data obtained by these methods must later be further processed and analyzed. It has a number of drawbacks, including time delay. The article presents a new method of data collection in terrain using a commonly available mobile devices. It shows the possibility of using open source software for data collection in terrain. The presented method has a number of advantages that can be used not only in social work. This paper is published thanks to the financial support of the project SPEV 2014 named: Entering research data in the field using mobile devices.
