Original language description
Hearing impairment significantly influences not only the development of communication competencies and the individual's thinking but also his/her social relationships, a professional job market application and a life style. Many of us including parents of children with hearing impairment cannot imagine its consequences because we had a chance to learn our mother tongue, in which we communicate and think in natural environment. In order to ensure optimal child's development, it is necessary to detect the hearing loss in time due to Nationwide Newborn Hearing Screening. Another, completely natural step is to provide support as soon as possible and as far as possible for these families of these children by the help of well cooperating multidisciplinary team of professionals from different fields (health, social, school etc.).
