Information and communication technology has the potential to transform the way people work together, access information, think and build new knowledge. The article presents new forms of mobile technologies and social networks usage in educational process. Authors focus on activation methods that can be enriched with these technologies. Presented methods have been experimentally verified and are based on the research which was realized at schools in the Czech Republic.
