The case study presented in the paper describes using the construction models of simple machines, created from construction kit Merkur, in education of physics – topics Rigid body. The Merkur is the origin construction kit from the Czech Republic. The case study consists of theoretical physical analysis of the given simple machine, description of construction model of the simple machine constructed by pupils and from analysis of educational goals of the Bloom’s taxonomy. The case study demonstrates the pupils’ construction activity during lessons of Physics.
