Some contemplation as well as a solution to the problem of enabling easy and user-friendly access of university students and staff to useful and necessary information or knowledge is presented. This approach is based on a mobile communication approach, combined with the existing university network services. The used approach is also intended to be a basis for enabling fast and operative communication among members of a university community enabling thus to create a real university e-community. The paperresults from an ongoing research devoted to knowledge management in a university environment.
