What Can e-Learning Learn From Knowledge Management?
Original language description
In this paper, knowledge management features are discussed from the viewpoint of their application in e-learning. First, we mention meeting points of knowledge management and e-learning. We continue by enlisting some of insufficiencies of current e-learning systems. Then we speak about the features of knowledge management systems namely content management, advanced collaboration support, user profiling, data mining and help desk, and we propose a way of their deployment in e-learning systems to better suit the needs of individual users and also the needs of the organization providing the e-learning resources.
