Today knowledge is the strategic key resource. Knowledge management is an approach that many commercial companies use to deal with knowledge. A relatively new look at working with knowledge requires universities to incorporate this issue to subjects of concern. This paper describes how the knowledge management issues are or are not included in appropriate subjects at Faculty of Informatics and Management in the University of Hradec Kralove. Authors present today's situation and try to design some proposals for the future.
