In the contribution there is described an example of project oriented education in study program Teaching of technical subjects. As topic was selected the solution of strength design of the construction of lifting device invented for manipulation with the containers. This problem is solved for setting up task and connected exercise Construction training and practice The contribution shows experience concerning organization, efficiency of education and assessment process and students feedback in the areaof education and assessment.
