Original language description
The paper presents an application of Topic Maps (TM) technology for integration of information and knowledge resources, used by managers and decision makers. The TM technology, which has been adopted as ISO standard recently and now dynamically evolves,promises to offer a unique view on heterogeneous resources. Through TM tools, it is possible to browse information resources organized on subject basis. Also, TM technology enables automation of some of routine tasks performed above information repositories. The paper explains basics of the TM technology and defines perspective directions of its next development with respect to managers# needs and requests.
