Multi-Criteria Adaptation Mechanism of Agent Environment Behavior in Ambient Intelligence Services
Original language description
Adaptability plays key role in the ambient intelligence. The environment surrounding user can be conveniently represented by a multi-agent system. Its task is to support helpfully user?s activities. In order to perform this task, multiple criteria representing important characteristics (attributes of both existing world and user) are used to describe the environment and to enable multi-criteria decision making processes of agents. Each agent in the system is trying to identify user and his/her needs andoptimize its behavior towards optimal performance of the whole environment. This paper is focused on description of decision making processes in such multi-agent system. An example of simplified case-study is presented to show application of this methodin real-life scenario.
