    Multi-Criteria Decision Making in Ambient Environment

    In this paper, we will describe the use of multi-criteria decision making process as a control mechanism for ambient home environment. In this environment, many appliances function as agents (autonomous entities) and form together a structure of multiagent system. This system is used to help in pursuit of goals of anyone present in the environment. Two model situations within a kitchen scenario will be used to demonstrate various decision situations intelligent home appliances may meet and should solve.
