Pedestrian Crowd Dynamics: from Agents to Self-Organization
Original language description
This paper deals with self-organization within the pedestrian crowd model. The main purpose of our microscopic agent-based model is to enable experimenting with emergent patterns, namely stop-and-go waves in unidirectional flow and lane formation in bidirectional flow. The model is described using ODD protocol, implemented in NetLogo and parameterized using BehaviorSearch.
