Original language description
The paper deals with a new model of teaching/learning which includes the computer-assisted content and language integrated learning, the use of wiki tools in school lessons or for home preparation and collaborative learning within the subject of Social Science at the Secondary School for EU Administration in Prague, Czech Republic. Totally 86 students divided into three groups participated in a pedagogical experiment. In group A wiki tools were used for home preparation to lessons, group B worked with wiki tools in school lessons and in teaching/learning of group C no wiki tools were implemented. After the eight-week course students' final knowledge was evaluated and their feedback collected and analyzed. The results showed the use of wiki tools for home preparation received the highest appreciation but students' knowledge in all groups was nearly identical.
