Most of these factors are connected together with learning. With regard to growing use of Internet the e-learning is one of frequently used learning form in learning organization. There-fore the objective of the study was to find out, what type of education the teachers perceive as the most effective and what way of obtaining information is the most effective for them. Based on the characteristics of schools being learning organi-zations, primary and secondary schools from Hradec Kralove and Pardubice re-gion of the Czech Republic were selected for the study. The questionnaire was sent approximately to 1,000 respondents, less than 10% of e-mails was returned with an error message. After one-month period 272 questionnaires were complet-ed. The most represented were respondents aged 41-50 years old (25.37%) and 51 – 60 years old (24.63%). Most of respondents (84.19%) work as a teacher at secondary school. The most effective type of learning are individual lessons (47.06%). Only 5.88% of respondents believe to e-learning. The most popular way to get information about education are web pages and e-mail. This study shows relatively high use of Internet and low confidence of respond-ents to e-learning. With regard to growing rate of using e-learning is appropriate to repeat this study in future to complete data about the development of e-learning.
