Original language description
Milk production is one of the main items in livestock production and, more broadly, in agricultural production. It is characterized by specific economic and organizational characteristics. The aim of the study is to determine changes in the buying and selling prices of milk in the three selected countries that joined the European Union in 2004 in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia compared to the largest milk producers in the European Union. In particular, the study analyzed changes in trends, seasonal cyclical fluctuations in purchase prices and the volume of milk purchased in the countries analyzed. In this work was used a multiplicative model of time series analysis. The analyzed data covered the years 2005-2016.
