  • Original language description

In the first half of 2020, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, universities were forced to move to emergency online learning. This study explores university students’ perceptions of their adoption, use, and acceptance of emergency online learning. Quantitative data were collected from 303 students at the University of Hradec Kralove. The findings show how attitude, motivation, and use of technology play a significant role in the performance of students. Furthermore, this study presents suggestions on how to improve the acceptance of emergency online learning. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
