Algorithms explained within the subjects as Graph Theory and Combinatorial Algorithms are not infrequently easy. Moreover, if students miss a lecture they usually have problem to understand the talked matter from textbooks. Therefore each suitable program visualising the explained algorithms is very welcomed. In the paper findings gained from a research of our students learning styles are discussed at first. Secondly, educational principles, which we have been keeping for many years, are introduced in comparison with gained findings. Finally, advantages of the program called GrAlg whose main purpose is a visual representation of basic graph-concepts and graph-algorithms are emphasised with regard to introduced educational principles as well as to the discussed learning styles categories.
