The Metaconfiguration project focuses on the configuration of the functions and attributes of the whole computer network. This formalized descriptive and configuration method should solve the problem with network settings inconsistencies and automates the routine snd repetitive task of this process. The cornerstone of the metaconfiguration are the metadata describing the general model of the various network entities and its attributes.

Projekt metakonfigurace se zaměřuje na konfiguraci funkcí a vlastností celé počítačové sítě. Tato formalizovaná popisná a konfigurační metoda by měla vyřešit problém s nekonzistencemi v nastavení síťových prvků a automatizuje rutinní a opakované úkoly. Jádrem metakonfigurace jsou metadata popisující obecný model různých síťových entit a jejich vlastností.
