The haemophilia treatment landscape has evolved rapidly inrecent decades. Therapeutic treatments aim to preventbleeding and include standard or extended half-life factor prod-ucts (e.g. prophylaxis) or non-factor therapies (e.g., emicizumab). Recently, gene therapy for haemophilia, using adeno-associated viral vectors (AAV) and modified coagulation factorgenes, has been approved for use in clinical care, representing asignificant advancement in therapeutic options for haemophilia.
