This workshop was organized to discuss a preliminary ICDP drilling proposal aimed at investigating recent mantle-crust-deep biosphere interactions in an area of active magmatic underplating. The target area for drilling is the western part of the Eger Rift, a part of the European Cenozoic Rift System (ECRIS).

Cílem pracovního setkání byla diskuse předběžného návrhu ICDP zaměřeného na výzkum recentních vztahů kůra ? plášť ? hluboká biosféra v oblasti aktivního magmatismu. Zájmovou oblastí je západní část oháreckého riftu, která je součástí evrospkého kenozoického riftového systému (ECRIS).
