CELEBRATION 2000 was a large international experiment that focused on the lithospheric structure in Central Europe. It consisted of several wide-angle reflection and refraction seismic profiles. Profiles CEL01 and CEL04 are located in the transition fromthe Precambrian and Palaeozoic platforms to the Carpathian orogen. The data were modelled using 2-D tomographic and forward modelling techniques.

Czech description

CELEBRATION 2000 byl velký mezinárodní experiment zaměřený na stavbu litosféry ve střední Evropě. Sestával z mnoha reflexních a refrakčních seismických profilů. Profily CEL01 a CEL04 jsou situovány na přechodu mezi prekambrickou a paleozoickou platformoua karpatským orogenem. Data byla modelována pomocí 2-D tomografie a s využitím postupů přímého modelování.
