Limit laws for disparities of spacings.
Original language description
The paper studies f-divergences and more general disparity measures of theoretical and empirical distributions defined by m-spacings corresponding to n i.i.d. observations on the unit interval. They are similar to the goodness-of-fit statistics studied by Hall in 1986. Sensitivity with respect to m between 1 and n is studied and the asymptotic normality is established. Relations to other m-spacing statistics known from the literature are discussed as well.
