    A multidimensional linear regression model suitable for biological applications is considered. A test of the hypothesis that one group of dependences is consistent with another group of dependences is stated. . Both unpaired and paired versions of the test are presented. Application of the test to biomarker identification in mass and Raman spectra is discussed.
