Does Cd36 gene play a key role in disturbed glucose and fatty acid metabolism in Prague hypertensive hypertriglyceridemic rats?
Original language description
The polymorphism of Cd36 gene in Prague hypertriglyceridemic (HTG) rat was investigated in order to compare this strain with spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHR). In spite of the fact that HTG and SHR had similar metabolic abnormalities, Cd36 mutation characteristic for SHR was absent in HTG strain. It is evident that genes other than Cd36 play an important role in pathogenesis of metabolic syndrome of HTG rats

Hraje gen Cd36 klíčovou úlohu při poruchách metabolismu glukózy a mastných kyselin u Pražského hypertenzního hypertriglyceridemického potkana?
